It is always a pleasure to receive a notification of an award. The selected image entitled, “Am I Alone?” is part of my ongoing ‘Pool of Life’ project, which illustrates the female form, in abandoned swimming pools.

“Am I Alone?” by Michelle Chaplow received an Honorable Mention In the Moscow International Photo Awards (MIFA) and will be projected on screen from 20 July – 7 August in Na Kashirke Gallery in Moscow.
This image from the “Pool of Life” series features an ornate walled enclosure with an abandoned plunge pool, fed by a natural spring.
The reflections mark the model´s inner journey, she looks out to the gate, questioning “ Am I Alone?” Are we ever really alone? I will leave that for you the viewer, to decide.
